Meet 'Galatea', this anything but 'standard' Tukkervlet was co-created by artist Peter Maas and has a lot to offer, not only visually but also technically. In addition to the well-known exceptionally solid construction of the ships from the Tukker shipyard, the furnishings and equipment are also above average. The many wooden parts and accessories have been lovingly maintained and are in very good condition, the same applies to the paintwork and the technical installation. This ship offers an excellent view all around and is equipped with aluminium window profiles, the windows can also be covered by means of screens. The large panoramic window at the rear can be opened completely and is also equipped with a sun canopy, so it is also wonderful to stay on board during the warm days. Once on board we immediately experience the feeling of space, the many windows and the exceptionally generous standing height are something we rarely encounter on similar ships and are certainly a welcome addition during a longer stay on board. In terms of equipment, there is little to be desired, for example on board you will find a bow thruster, a Whisperpower inverter, hydraulic steering, a marine radio, a vacuflush toilet including waste water tank and a diesel hot air heater. There is even a reserve heater, so on board Galatea you do not have to sit in the cold.
