Practical, solid and modernized are keywords that completely fit this Lytton Discovery 850. She was built in England at a renowned shipyard where quality and ease of use were highly valued. Specifically designed for canals and small lakes, this ship is ideally suited for Dutch waters. The current owner has made the move to a larger ship, but has taken no opportunity to take care of and upgrade this Lytton 850 to perfection. For example, she was recently fitted with a new 47 hp Craftsman Marine diesel, the underwater hull has had an anti-osmosis treatment and is fitted with new antifouling. The spray hood was renewed in 2019, and the vessel has numerous upgrades. Besides a bow thruster and an electric anchor winch with stainless steel plow anchor you will also find on board an inverter, a solar panel, a refrigerator, electric stove, a boiler on engine heat and shore power and also a holding tank is present. All in all, a very fully equipped and excellently maintained boat.
